step outside, summer times in bloom

in a land far away,
the princess held the sway,
a nautanki at heart,
but she was very smart,
she walked in like the spring,
like jingle bells ring.

he was eagerly anticipating summer. the winter had been cold and harsh. the chill had settled down in his bones. extended hours in front of the fireplace did not help. because his heart craved the warmth of summer.

she was prancing around like a deer,
with nothing to fear,
the glades had already thawed,
like gods hand had clawed,
she hopped on like the sun,
she was too much fun.

he felt a shadow watching him from the window. but he coudnt think. holed up in his cottage, he despised the world outside. wait for summer had turned into agony and now despair.

she saw in the distance a shack,
the insides were fully black,
she peeped in through the window,
n saw him sittin at the fireplace,
like a flamingo,
to see him so she was shocked,
so she went to the door and knocked.

he felt the shadow move. but the chill had taken over him. he could not rationalize anymore. the cold did no harm to him physically. it just left his rational abilities frozen. he could fight thw world. but he could not fight his emptiness. his train of thoughts was broken by a knock on the door.

the door creaked open,
and it was a sight to behold,
he felt a sudden warmth ,
which he hadnt known for ages,

she was lost in his eyes,
he looked ever so wise.

they stepped towards each other. his hand brushed against hers. all the cold vaporized outbof his being. suddenly life had a meaning. it was all clear at once. she was the cure to his emptyness in life.

they embraced each other with joy,
could not have been more coy,
they wandered many a places,
hand in hand,
filling in the beauty, of each other,
and the land,
travelled together under the moon and sun,
another winter was neva gnna come.
