she was his light at the end of the tunnel. she was everything he could not be. she was at peace with herself. she had hope. she was happy.
he was at war with himself.
he wanted her. but he could not. she was the angel of his eyes. he was sure he would bring his own war into her mind. contaminate her. tears welled up when he thought about her. he didnt have the courage to let her go. he didnt have the courage to let her know. he knew she deserved better. she deserved happiness. she would be his strength. he would end up being her weakness. he was happy when he was with her. he wanted to change the world for her. he wanted to be the reason for her smile.
Scene I - office. a cubicle. enter le employee and le manager. le employee: what were you trying to prove, that deep down everyone wants wealth like you do? you're alone le manager: Can't rely
on anyone these days.
You gotta do everything yourself. Don't we? That's okay. I came prepared. It's a
funny world we live in. Speaking of which, you know how I got these cars? le employee: No, but I know how you got these. le manager: Oh, you. You just couldn't let
me go, could you? This is what happens when an unstoppable
force...meets an immovable object. You truly are incorruptible, aren't you? Huh?
You won't turn me in...out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness. And I
won't sack you...because you're just too much fun. I think you and I are
destined to do this forever. le employee: You'll be in this cubicle forever. le manager: Maybe we could share one. You know, they'll be doubling up... the rate these employees are losing their minds. le employee: This company just showed you...that it's full of people ready to believe
in good. le manager: Until their spirit breaks completely. Until they get a good look at
the real CEO...and all the heroic things he's done. You didn't think I'd
risk losing the battle for Company's soul...in an esacalation with you? No. You need an
ace in the hole. Mine's CEO. le employee: What did you do? le manager: I took Company's white knight...and I brought him down to our level. It
wasn't hard. See, madness, as you know...is like gravity. All it takes is a
little push. le manager(with a flourish): main tujhe chod du ye ho nahi sakta, aur tu mujhe chod de ye main hone nahi dunga. exeunt
Scene II - Cafeteria enter le employee, le employee1 and sweeper le employee1: le manager won. All of CEO's work, everything he fought for...undone. Whatever chance you gave us of fixing our Company dies with CEO's reputation. We bet it all on him. le manager took the best of us and tore him down. People will lose hope. le employee: They won't. They must never know what he did. le employee1: Five cars, two of them jaguar's...you can't sweep that up. le employee: But le manager cannot win. Company needs its true hero. le employee1: [understanding immediately] No! le employee: You either get a promotion, or you live long enough to see yourself become inconspicuous. I can do those things, because I'm not a hero, not like CEO. I got those cars, that's what I can be. le employee1: No, you can't! You're not! le employee: I'm whatever Company needs me to be. Call it in.
*A scene of le employee1 speaking at CEO's funeral, saying he was "a CEO. Not the one we deserved, but the one we needed. Nothing less than a knight, shining"*
le employee1: They'll hunt you. le employee: You'll hunt me. You'll condemn me, set the code on me. Because that's what needs to happen. Because sometimes... the truth isn't good enough. Sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded. (runs) sweeper: le employee? le employee! Why is he running, le employee1? le employee1: Because we have to chase him. sweeper: He didn't do anything wrong. le employee1: Because he's the hero the company deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight.

Scene III. New office cubicle
enter le employee, le newManager le employee:Why didn't you just sack me? le NewManager:You don't fear the pink slip. You welcome it. Your punishment is to be more severe. le employee:You're a torturer... le newManager:Yes. But not of your body. Of your soul. le employee:Where am I? le newManager: Home.Where I learned the truth about despair. As will you. There is a reason that this prison is the worst hell on earth...Hope. Every man who has rotted here over the centuries has looked at the light and imagined coming to freedom. So simple. So easy. And, like shipwrecked men turning to sea water from uncontrollable thirst, many have died trying. I learned that there can be no true despair without hope. So as I terrorize the company, I will feed its employees hope to poison their souls. I will let them believe they can survive so that you can watch them clamber over each other to stay in the sun... le newManager points to a laptop, in the cubicle You will watch as I torture an entire company to cause you pain you thought you could never feel again. Then, when you have truly understood the depths of your failure, we will fulfill le boss's destiny. We will destroy the compnay. And when it is done...when Company is ashes...then you have my permission to leave. exeunt

its a sin to dream. because what you always dream of is something that you cannot have. by the very definition of it being impossible, it is a given fact that it wil shatter. its not so much as the shattering as it is the after effects. picking up the pieces . a feeling of hollowness. all this philosophy is also something which can be classified as a first world problem. but the law of the universe dictates that it not be considred such.to ancient cave men not having fire would have been a first world problem equivalent. but gradually it has become indespensible. any thing you want apart from basic survival does not qualify as a first world problem. we can always go back to forests, hunt and live. afterall what is the purpose to life. in the forest theres plenty to eat and oppurtunities to procreate. but we live in a world which is constantly evolving. this year we have something which we did not have last year. each generation is brought up with things that are indispensible to them. phones being a case in point now.we can always play around with the hunour quotient in first world problems. luxuries are as much a part of life, we believe it or not. the added effort we put in to analyse each situation is vexing. we seem to be on a plateau of sorts in technological growth. all tech has now evolved in terms of social interactions. social media being a big player here. every stream of study has been permeated with out social habits. long distance space missions are planned keeping in mind how the people on board will interact with each other. on a more personal note i am waiting for the first baby with an intergalactic citizenship. the point is we have theories for anything that happens.and most of these theories are assumptions. these theories are still ok when applied on large groups under controlled conditions. what is worse is how individual people have started applying it on their experiences. every tom dick harry is a agony aunt. and the worst justification to all this is that its my life and i am free to pass judgements with finality. what people dont realise is empathy is understanding the point of view. not analysing it. pointing out faults. criticism is something that comes easily. this criticism is on the false assumptions that every parameter has been considered. and any logic that follows this criticism obviously makes sense. but the whole theory is based on vague understanding. even thsi could be a first world problem. the scary part is when it stops being a first world problem. things are gonna go really crazy then. evolution calls for a change. but this change seems to be going on a tangentm woudnt it be better had we started developing wings to fly. or perhaps an in built particle accelerator allowing us to move around in time or maybe teleport. now that would be much more fun. partly because - obviously who wouldnt want that. partly because its very tangible. changes in the behavioural and social patterns on the other hand are very intangible.
a person is smart, people are idiots. the very validity of this is proved by a very ignored announcement at the railway station -"please let others deboard before you board". this is something that should be an innate reflex born as a part of growing up. but some people just dont get the concept. like shakespeare says: a mob is fickle minded. one person starts shouting "get in !get in!" , and people suddenly loose all common sense and try to board as people are getting down. this idioticity has no excuse. some will say we are getting late. but these are just excuses. what a developing country lacks is the sense of individuality. agreed that people as a whole need a cause to relate to each other which is manifested in terms of religion or maybe regions. the basic binding has to be in place beacuse without it humanity looses meaning but beyond that decisions should be directed keeping self in mind.some might argue that this is selfish or maybe a nuisance to other people in the community. that is why i meantioned a overall cause like religion, region or nation has to be in place. but for more individual life choices like education, career or even social life , a society is only a dictatorship. what anyone does with their life is not under the purview of the society. it is only when such restrictions are lifted does the brilliance of a nation emerge.
people are so full of themselves. and non chalant that too. it just amazes me to no end. after millenia of evolution majority of them still think that the world revolves around them. every action is somehow related to them. the omnispresent theme of self in the causality of everything is amusing and irritating at the same time. the crucial fact here is for them to realise that - "yes, your world does revolve around you. but everyone else has their own world, which for certain does not revolve around you". there is something important to understand here. only your own actions are aimed towards yourself. only you care about yourself. others might be appearing to do so but they will doing so to serve their own purpose. so try not to be so full of yourself. deflate a little. coz if you pump yourself with self importance, its gnna cone out through a particularly smelly route some day. whats more frustrating is that such people tend to gather around them patronizers. and even fools. and this is a dangerous concoction. it gives sane people nausea.
the elder wand seemed to have held together the wizarding fabric so to speak. in his enthusiasm to destroy the wand , harry had made a grave mistake. In the years to come fewer people would be born with magic in their blood. though hogwarts saw a drop in the number of students somewhat late; other schools had started noticing a drop much earlier. years later, other schools were shut down.

the potter family lived a pretty happy life. when ginny died she gave the ring to snape. and when snape died, he gave it to lupin. on a particularly hot day, lupin accidentally dropped the ring into the fire, beneath a cauldron. when he retrieved it, he noticed strange markings on the ring. as the ring cooled down the markings slowly faded.but from that day onwards, the ring had lingering aura of heaviness around it. remus stopped wearing it, and the ring found its way into a vault in gringotts.
thoughts start off as a drop, become a rill, then turn into a river and end up as the ocean. there is a very singular, unique, skill that's missing in quite a few people ; that is how to keep thoughts to yourself. what might be a unspoken understanding amongst everyone, becomes stupid when you voice it. whats dangerous is that stupidity can be forgiven, but giving voice to that thought has already done the damage. it has unconsciously ratified what others were only thinking. this very event causes their thoughts to coalesce , and human mind by design veers towards the worse. try as you may the damage has been done. in an effort to voice out thoughts and experiences, you forget the basic rule - think before you speak.
the year voldemort died was very eventful. particularly happy were the elves. After a particular request from harry; and continuous pressure from S.P.E.W(now headed by Hermoine with a particularly strong following) - the Ministry and warlocks agreed to free the house elves of their slavery. 13 wizards and witches were assembled that winter and an ancient ritual invoked. the magical bond between elves and humans severed. what happened next was unxpected. it seemed that the particular link had kept the elves growth in check - both physically and magically. elvish colonies were established. and the elves soon towered over the humans.

Hogwarts was never the same after voldemort's death. Everyone assumed that the final fight had brought about deep wounds into hogwarts itself. wounds that would only worsen with time. in time to come, the forbidden forest slowly receded. eventually leaving a barren wasteland in its wake. hogwarts itself was diseased. the plague spread through its walls. to the very foundation. but strangely, the gryffindor tower was largely unaffected. A lightning storm during the autumn of tiger had destroyed a part of the tower, leaving a concave shaped cave in its blast.
