whoops

after being drenched in the rains, he trawled through the whole day; redefining boredom. that is when the teacher proclaimed that we would be writing an essay today. his inner devil gave a sarcastic whoops. he gave a rats ass. forgetting everything except the rains outside, he absentmindedly picked up his weapons - pen and paper, wreaking havoc on the very idea of an essay. after writing something he dint quite remember, much less understood, he handed over the paper. and now he could go home for that hot cup of coffee and endless hours of NFS.
In contrast to the previous day, the next day turned out to be quite eventful. the teacher declared that his essay would be read out in the class. instant thoughts flashed in his mind. he first looked towards his friends. what were they gonna think about him. him a nerd? he could already feel ostracized in their gaze. abandoned. then he looked towards his crush. she was actually looking at him!. his inner devil broke out into a dance. but then a look of disgust broke out on her face. whoops. nerd zone alert!!!!!. even the nerd was giving him looks.in one single moment of boredom he had elevated himself to a pedestal where he wudnt wanna be outta choice. he could feel all that he had built being drained away...wait did i actually hear a flush? maybe i didnt...time to put things on track. so he tore up a piece of paper. and threw it at one friend he knew who just cudnt resist it. what ensued was a full blown paper ball fight. total pandemonium. in one single stroke his friends were back on his side. his crush was smiling again. the nerd, well not that it mattered, was still giving him looks. the whole episode earned him a week in detention. but well he had made a wise decision. he had all his crazy friends back. the teacher, inspite of recognizing his brilliance, would never again dare to say it front of the class. coz what kind of a precedence that would set right!!!...

brilliance is but that rare combination of boredom and craziness.
