after years of struggling with the problem of governance why dont we have a viable alternative to either democracy or dictatorship. the inherent fallacies of dictatorship is quite apparent. human ambition tends to rule over common sense and the result is always bloodshed. democracy though better in this aspect has revealed another sinister fallacy in human nature-greed. while not many would be willing to bend everyone to accept their supremacy, almost everyone is willing to dress up as greedy dog if people allow so. so with the problems right in front of us, why can we not have a viable alternative. our diversity as a species while not that apparent in looks, runs rather deep in thoughts. if all human babies were to be shifted to a new planet maybe we could have a world government, a government that does not have to deal with localized ambitions. ambition while a major driving factor for all development turns quite destructive when it drowns all logic and turns in an never lasting thirst for power.
what we could do is have a governance mechanism in place where everthing is logged. all transactions be it buying a candy, or spending money on highways. the basic idea being clarity. for example if some money is spent on building highways that money would be sent to some contractor who would then pay his workers and for raw materials.all this has to be logged end to end in digital bytes. there are many inherent flaws in this. the introduction of dummy workers , organisations could easily bypass the system. but we would still have a track of that money- earning to spending. or maybe a calamity that makes us lose all that data. or maybe educated hackers siphoning off money. but this system would have accountability. instead of uneducated thieves siphoning of money with no rhyme or reason acting unpredictably we will have educated thieves who act predictably. its a sysem that will have conscience, transparency. its not a system that is above corruption, that is basic human nature, but its a system that has an active deterrent that does not consist of empty words and false promises.
