not many people know that the moon is moving away from the earth gradually. approximately at a rate of 3.8 cm per year. this is mainly due to the gravitational pull of the sun. since people have already formed theories of what might happen we will delve into something irrational. the day will come when the moon will be pulled away from the earth and we will have to steal a moon. yes you heard it right, we will have to steal a moon. now firstly to pull of a galactic heist of this scale we need to make sure that moon comes from a planet which is not inhabited. the closest match that comes close to earths moon size is Io. we could do multiple things to steal it.
1.> launch spaceships from the earth with huge lassos. the crew shud consist of a particularly high number of cowboys.
2.>launch a huge number of spaceships from earth. they will prompty go and push the moon towards us. crew shud consists of managers from various domains.
3.>launch huge sails from earth to Io. these sails will deploy around the moon catching the suns rays and guiding the moon.
4.>we could build a huge ice slide from jupiter to earth. then one lucky person gets to go wheee with the moon on the slide.
5.>send a huge baseball bat into space to promptly knock Io out of orbit towards the earth.
6.>build two huge magnets. keep one on earth. one on Io. and we wil let nature do the rest.
we could also try n keep the moon we already have, but where is the fun in that.
