shackles

angst is the rich kids alternative to real problems.
in a nation where the youth is bawling out about freedom and more progressive rights, its amazing to see how their actions reflect otherwise. herd mentality. they complain about how regressive the society structure is. yet they lack the courage to go against it in their very homes. the society is not gonna change becasue you have suddenly realised that something is wrong. the society is you. you have to change. they have found very easy outlets for all these problems. a visit to any social media site reveals this. you will see an average person who has suddenly comprehended something way too advanced. and decides to share it with the world. the average world again appreciates this. and the person revels in this newfound self pride. and so grows the collection of confident and progressive individuals. which eventually turns to words for everything. action recedes to the background. and one fine day they all wake up. and cry out asking why things are still as they were. why hasnt anything changed. change is an action. not a thought. what is worse is these very individuals are so into themselves, justifyng what they do is progressive, that they start to believe they are above the crowd. that they have these high principles which puts then above the average tom dick and harry. that the way they think is so progressive that maybe humanity is too amateur to think that way, much less comprehend it. fools never realise their foolishness. its easy to blame the people around you. that you are ready to go that extra mile. but people around are so stupid that they wont get up. that you are all whats right with the world. they are whats wrong. and in a condescending moment you declare that there is no hope for  these "backward" people .
they crave ratification of their views. justification of their actions. not above the crowd. a part of the crowd after all.
